i buy salvage/damaged cars from auctions all the time and i would not pay more than 2k but then again it wouldn't sell for more than $1500 anyways at the auction

get rid of it as soon as possible..i had a 2001 type-s salvage with 52000 miles looked brand new nothing wrong with it i had to replace the tranny once ended up paying 2500 for it , I cant sell it , probly gona put it in the auction... even if its not a salvage these cars dropped so much in value its not even funny, dont get me wrong i loved my acura but drivin a car everyday worrying if the trannys gona fail again it wasnt worth. So I pciked up an Infiniti g35x WOW wat a difference
