What's a fair price for a used supercharger for a 6-speed?
My priorities have shifted greatly recently. I need to buy a house and could use all the cash I can get my hands on at this point. So before I post a thread what do you all feel would be a fair price including the gauges, gauge pod, high boost pulley, etc.? $3,000 is what I'm thinking. It has about 25k miles on it.
And before I'm told this belongs in the Black Market it isn't for sale just yet. People post threads asking how much their car is worth all the time. Think of this as something along those lines

Without the high boost pulley and gauges I'd probably sell it for around $2,500 but I really want it to go all as a set.
Installed and serviced by Tischer Acura of course.

If you add it all up there's almost $4,800 in parts there.
$3,800 for the S/C
$200 for the Autometer boost gauge
$200 for the Autometer fuel pressure gauge
$60 for the Stewart Warner manual boost gauge
$350 for the AEM wideband
$100 for two gauge pods
$75 for the HBP

i would be very interested in this when it does happen (no bullshit like some ), what do you think the life of a supercharger is? do you think having 60,xxx miles would be detrimental to the engine life( assuming proper maintenence of course), i have a clp though, would it work? let me know, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer both of your questions yes it will fit with some additional parts from Comptech. I'm not sure exactly what is required and I will not be responsible for doing so.
The first CL-S I supercharged had over 70k miles on it when I installed the S/C. Took it off about 20k miles later and never had a problem.

Ah steve you can't sell the supercharger, just steal the money you need or something
Hey I know where your coming from though I really don't like my living situation and almost every week I toy with the idea of selling my car so I could buy the house I want

That's truely a shame that you have to sell it. $3,000 is all you need for a DP on a house? Damn. Must be nice. Good luck with that. I'll be getting a house around December.
