What's this?

Just looking through ebay and came across this item.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1824400436

Any thoughts on this one? A cheap way to screw up your computer?

Yeah look for instructions online how to make one. You can get the parts for like a dollar at any electronics shop. It won't get you anywhere near 20hp in the CL or TL though. I would be surprised if it gives any gain at all.

Didn't somebody suggest the MMII was an upgraded version of this?

Remember, a resistor can't increase the voltage, just drop it. Our IAT signal range is about 5 VDC to 0 VDC = -10F to 300F. You need to increase voltage to get the PCM to think it is colder.
