Hey guys, I have about a $1400 budget to spend this summer since i don't want to spend all of my summer job money on my car. I'm torn between so many things =( What would you guys do with the money?
1) Versus kit, m5 spoiler, 03 tailights
2) Tein coils, obx or stoneracing headers, sways

i guess the real question is...looks or performance first

Pay the damn loan on the car off. Step #1 to being a responsible person, moneywise. Do not become a doofus, and get hung up on looks. Put yourself into a position where you can afford another high quality car first and foremost.

Storms happen. Thefts happen. Get yourself all "modded up", in debt, and unisured for the mods...well...you could REALLY be an UNHAPPY camper.

IMHO, that M5 spoiler looks like ass, why make the CL look more like the Solara? Don't mean to bash anyone here, just my $.02

U guys are :ghey: He wants to spend $1400 on some mods for his car. He loves his car, let him do what he wants with his money. He never mentioned anything about having to worry about his car loan, stock advice, etc.... In fact, I think he is a responsible person by NOT spending all his money on his mods, he has a specific budget/money set aside for the car... With all that said, I pick #2.

dfreder370...how do you know i even still owe anything on the car? You could have replied in a much different manner by saying that IF i still owed money on the car, to put this money towards that payment and that would have made much more sense.

Your point is well taken and I apologize. I just like to plan ahead. Going way back, I had a 69 Z-28 I went nuts on, and the car got stolen. Insurance refused to pay for a lot of mods.

I was just trying to look out for you, but I said it in the wrong way.

I just switched from a no navi 03 CLS6 silver to a navi CLS6 anthricite to match some special wheels I have. All who have seen it are pleading for me to drop the car, and I agree with them. But the answer is still no, not until the car is paid for.
