what would you do?

I'm trading my 03 TLS for an 01 or 02 CLS with nav.

what i have found thus far:
01 cls nav blk on blk with 60,000 miles for $18,300
02 cls nav red on blk with 22,00 miles for $22,750

what car would you buy?

(any help at this point would be greatly appreciated)

Most definitely the '02. Lower miles, '02 upgrades, etc. You can talk them down off that price too. I'm sure you could get it for around $20,500.

Zero chance of that happening. Unless it looks like this:

Our re-sale value might suck... but it ain't that bad.

I thought they were going for even less, but I could be wrong. I can tell you first hand that the navigation system is deadly accurate and a "Must have". I travel all over the state of Maryland and am never in the same place twice in the same week. I haven't looked at a map or been lost in a long time. Make sure that they throw in the latest version of the navigation CD too, it has tons more info on it.

It's funny, it takes me places other than the roads that I've traveled for years, I just tell myself, "Trust the navi... trust the navi..." and bingo, I'm there.

Out of curiosity, why would you trade an '03 TL-S in for an '01-'02 CL-S? I'd keep the TL-S, unless I missed something.

So you're trying to say I could get an '03 CL-S with under 30k miles for close to $15k? Doubtful.

did you just miss my post about what my buddy paid for his 02? There is a difference between dealer trading price and dealer asking price

15K may be a little low right now, but they'll be there in very short time. I'll try to get a listing from the next auction and see if any 03's go through. 01's have gotten down to as low as 10,XXX from what i've heard.

Buying from an auction is much different than buying from a dealer.

my TLS with nav is a GREAT car but the CLS with nav will be just as good and cost me less per month.
