what to use to soften up leather??

what product is good to use to soften the leather on the seats.. i think my leather has a tough and rigid feeling, so my seats feel kinda hard. dont really care about cleaners, just a conditioner to make it supple.

Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner is really nice. Most people recommend that.

I used that for a while then I tried out the Meguiars products and I personally like them better. They have a seperate cleaner and conditioner with aloe. The cleaner is fantastic, it brings so much dirt out of your seats. The conditioner gives the leather a good soft feel instead of the slippery feel from cheap stuff.

I use wax applicator pads to put it on, I think it works the best.

If you want it to look and feel nice you need to clean it first and then apply the conditioner.

lexol!! I bought the horse barn size so i'll never run out!

It really is a fantastic leather cleaner/conditioner. If you are looking to make your leather more supple, clean it first to remove the dirt and grime so the conditioner sets better-

jus tried the lexol. it does give it a new leather look. but other than that i dont think it did too much else. well this is only after 2 back to back applications. there was some drying and crackin in some places and it did make it not as dry and rough. but i think u cant really "soften" the leather seats. its more due to the design of our type-s seats. my bro's '00 TL has a very "cushy" feeling, where u can "sink" into the seats. u can actually pinch the leather together in some places and pick it up off the padding. anyways, ill just live /w it.

Stay away from any product utilizing waxes, silicone, or alcohol. Some companies advertise pH neutral but really are not. See leather product comparison thread in detailing section.

You could just fart in your seats, not only will they get soft and supple, they will also have a warm feeling with a tad bit of vociferous odor to them.
