I bought a strip of Velcro.
It is about 1” wide and about 24” long.

I cut it into two 12” long pieces and stapled them on outside edges of the bottom rear of my box.
You only need to use the “hook” side of the Velcro.

It’s been in there for almost a year and it has NEVER moved.
It’s easy enough to remove the box to if you need to access the spare.

Velcro, I first used the ones where it comes in a stip like tape but it got messy when i wanted to move it , so I got the square velcro's and put it in each corner. Works Great. even during quick corners. Atleast that's what I want to believe.
