what should I get, CAI or Short Ram intake?

I'm looking for easy installation with maximum performance gains. Whats the difference between the two? will I feel a power increase and any sound difference. Thanks

The Weapon R cold air box would be the easiest to install I think. Plus the dyno's look pretty good. Don't have to worry about installing a bypass valve because its a short ram.

I love my short ram intake. It is definitely not too loud. The AEM sounds weak compared to mine when VTEC kicks in. The gains may not be as much (depends on weather more), but I never have to worry about hydrolock.

And the AEM bypass valve does next to nothing. A friend of mine who installs intakes had two Integra's that hydrolocked even with the bypass valve. He told me it only really works well if the entire intake is submerged in water.

If you look into a Weapon-R, just make sure to get a K&N as the foam filter they use hums too much...

AEM is good too, but to me not worth even a .5% risk for a debatable extra 3 hp
