What a pain in the A$$ !!!
I am trying to buy tires for this freakin CLS.
ERICL .......HELP !
TireRack.com
Pushes me the S03 Pole Position, until I told what car I had, he said, Policy says I can only sell you 50's, not 45's, so fock them.
So I call my local tire shop and he says:
"those tires were "designed" for the porches "front" tires ! I would be wasting my money.........
WHO WANT TO HELP ME SPEND MY $1000.00 ON TIRES TODAY????????????????????????????????/
PLEASE let me know, by emailing :

How about Wheel Works in S.F. or South bay? They usually match Tire Rack prices and provide you the option of insurance for an extra 10 percent of the tire's cost. I bought some Dunlops there a while ago, and had two flats (very unlucky) and they replaced both for free (because I paid insurance). So if S03's are 180 a piece, 18 bucks for insurance isn't bad!
Be careful about tire balancing though, the one in S.F. didn't balance my friend's bimmer properly and it was bad! The one I used in South Bay (Mountain View/Sunnyvale on El Camino) wasn't bad.

Thanks Dacat. I think I'm going with 18" rims and 235-40-18, because of the legal aspect of 225-45-17 load issue with reputable shops NOT recommending that tire size !
Thanks again !
Thanks again !
