what members have 300+ WHEEL HP?

im just curious on potential of the CL [plus extremely bored before school].

now i want details, so dont come and post who you believe 20 years ago had like 800Whp...lol

if you do have 300+, just list the base car, mods on it, how often you drive it, etc..., pics?

awesome! now i have class, and when i get back...

[so 25% loss on auto. 300+Whp = 400+ on motor.
17.31%loss on 6 speed. 300+whp = 363+HP motor...

whos in the 400 HP Club? ]

That's not right.
X HP at the motor will not change given the same mods for 6 speed & auto. Getting that power to the ground WHP will because of the different drive train losses.

yeah you're right, but despite mods, engine alone: if both cars get 400 hp motor, the 6 speed gets more to the ground b/c it loses less drivetrain-wise. this is what you are looking at.

i did the inverse where if 2 cls [1 auto, 1 6sp] have same at wheels, its different at crank...basically in general the 6sp needs less mods to get the same wheel horsepower.

out of the science aspect: cl at = 195 or so at wheels stock while 6speed = 215 stock whp...w/e equivalent mods you add to the 2 engines, both having 260hp, gets the same hp at motor, but the similiar gains at wheels vary overall b/c of the starting numbers 195whp and 215whp, respectively.

we are looking at the same thing 2 dif ways!

According to that idiots youtube videos GC86 has 300+ WHP with bolt-ons on an automatic.

I never dyno'd but I'm sure I probably was in the 300+ territory trapping 108

Only a moron like you would take that youtube video seriously. 300whp N/A is unattainable without major engine work. Than again a S/C'ed 6spd with the HBP and all bolt-ons can reach 300whp

This is also the idiot who swore some guy made a 3.7 TL-P pushing 400 HP... doubtful he was fucking around and more then likely he is either

A. An Idiot
or
B. Hoping the misinformed might actually believe his car has that much power.

And at least RyanGP knows the idiocy that gc86 gives off on his terrible youtube videos. Please jump into a Neon... it's definetly more suited for you.

Start with a CL-S 6 speed. Add headers, CAI and lightweight crank pulley. Add Supercharger. Then add lightweight wheels and thermoblok spacers. That's my 2CW

You can get 300whp with just the base SC pulley (3.0") so thats about 4psi. Last time 04accordcpe managed ~330 on a dynapack.

No way we can do 300whp NA with stock internals unless we get rid of the stock rev limit and tune using a full stand alone. You would basically need 225wtq at 7000rmp to get 300whp, thats a peak tq number most have a hard time reaching in the 5-6.5K range before torque starts to dive at 6K.

I too would be really currious how many people are pushing the 300whp mark. Seems like most have jumped ship here in the last year.

Yeah and mold a TL kit!

What do wheels and spacers have to do with HP? Unless your thinking of drivetrain loss or something, which still doesn't make sense.

I'm doing 250ish with bolt on's & no tune. If I got a tune & got some light rims all I'm getting is anther 10-20 WHP. So yeah it's hard to get there NA.

From what I have seen dyno wise from the board and from the Comptech website before it went down I am at the very least at 300whp. The 6mt dyno is not on the new ct-engineering site. My car is finely tuned using what I got and with the parts installed and the fresh tune up and replacement of several key parts and how it drives. I’m also running 93 octane gas. I know I am at 300hp at the wheels at the very least. If I had to guess, I would say 305-315whp conservatively. There are a few on the board who have hit 330whp with the standard pulley and a real tune. I have seen 330whp on the high boost pulley with 91 octane gas and emanage.

You could get 300 n/a. 3.5 stroke, intake, exhaust, headers, cat, pullies, plenums, spacers, mugen thermostat, mugen fan switch and mugen radiator cap, voltage regulator, and a tune. Its def possible.

Thermoblock spacers go between the intake manifold and the lower intake runners, as well as between the throttle body and intake manifold. They help prevent heat soak in the engine.

Even with all the bolt on mods I had on my car I wasn't remotely close to 250hp NA...if I had a type-s it would be close with a 3.5 with a tune...maybe.

I change my mind...

I know there isn't much more than what I mentioned, he just made it sound like CleanCL had a lot more than that, and I didn't think there was really anything else left other than forced induction/spray.

The SRT-4 caliber you told me to jump in would rock your car anyday. Yeah and I fail at life, good one asshat. RYANGP have you heard of keywords? its something you use on youtube that makes it easier for people to find your videos, dont those words look like something a person might type in wanting to watch videos of CL's and TL's? thats what I thought.

YouTube and Acurazine are two totally different things. I don't go around Acurazine spreading false info, if anyone took a while to look at my posts i've given out quite a bit of useful advice and help to those in need.

Yeah JBlue, looks like your full of shit in this video claiming you have a stock CL-S. http://youtube.com/watch?v=69cyk4-wBO0 everyone go flame him.

If you ever come down to the Bay Area let me know and you can meet the owner of the 400hp TL-P I talk about.

cuz your existence ruined my thread bringing you up. lol [AND I AM JUST KIDDING...haha, gotta be clear about that on here...no one really cares^^]

ANYWAY!!! i already know it is possible to get 300whp, so thanks for all of the mod combos that would get us there, BUT

i just wanted some proof/real life examples...

someone said it right, but i believe most have moved on from Azine...sadly, BUT WE STILL HAVE GC86 FTMFW!!!!!!!!! [j/k lol]

I don't know, in my opinion...and maybe only mine.....trying to get crazy hp out of this car is a waste of time. reguardless of how much hp you get, ITS STILL FRONT WHEEL DRIVE!! All you get is wheel spin, unless you got slicks, and handling suffers also( not like its great to begin with.) I mean yeah sure its cool, but why spend 10g's ontop of what you've already spent on your car to go....what 1 sec faster in 1/4? And then a year, maybe 2 later...BOOM, you got a fancy car that needs a new engine....

When using KEYWORDS those Keywords should exist in the search. You have no forced induction so why put turbo or supercharger for the searches to pull up... also putting 300 WHP which your car has none of these things.

Lying about what kinda power you have and parts can not compare to being sarcastic saying a car is stock.

Yeah I put stock, but clearly anyone who looks at my video then yours can CLEARLY tell I was joking, so why would anyone flame me? You mock other cars like they're garbage and clearly look like a retarded fanboy so thats why you get shit from people on both youtube and here.

Lets not forget you were too much of a pansy to drive a CLS-6 and downgraded to the automatic and make CLS owners look like ricers with the fake wheels, fake parts, stupid racing vids etc etc.

And that thread you stated about the 400HP TLP you showed no evidence and was proven to be impossible. Stop Lying Jesus F'N Christ.

Yeah, but presumably if someone types in "turbo cl" or "comptech supercharger" they're looking for a turbo CL or a comptech supercharger, not one with ebay exhaust. Your douchebaggery on public venues like youtube is giving us CL'ers a bad name. There's kids driving stock Cobalts and Suzuki Samurai's laughing at us. Come on, maan.

Spacers keep heat soak down and light wheels DO help the WHP figure because the the dyno measures output through the wheels, not at the end of the axle or driveshalf. Heavy wheels take longer to accelerate and the dyno will see this and graph it.

Why are you messing up this thread with your real world results and usable horsepower? This thread is about 300+WHP.

"so we got jproy, thinjim of course..."

I believe his screen name is Sirsig or something like that, he has an accord but has done the J32A swap with a 6 speed, SC/IC set up. I believe he is near the 340ish whp mark. I know I passed 300 whp (last dyno was 345whp) but I did it the easy way with basically the same set up as mentioned above (I/H/E/SC/IC/HPB/Cooling Mods/Test Pipe/E-managment/Springs and Shocks/etc...). As for realiability....two years with not one single problem from my daily driver. Over 30 passes at the track and a few road trips and still going strong.

6-speed dyno: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/christmas-tree-real-artificial-194227/
he put down 247whp with i/h/p and neo tune

with exhaust, intake plenums, tb spacers, bored throttle body, ported intake manifolds, intake manifold spacers, hi-flow cat, cat back exhaust.... basically all bolt-ons for our car... he can make another 20-30hp.... not bad...
