What is your car ownership history?

My first was a 92 Saturn coupe - totaled
Second was a 97 Mustang GT - always tore up... traded it.
Third was 01 Integra GSR - stolen
Now I have the 01 CL type S. It is my first automatic, other than that I love this car. It would blow the doors off that Mustang GT I had. I have had the CL since February of 03 and will probably have it for a few more years if everything goes well with it.

1962 Volvo P1800 (used) - The so-called "poor man's Ferrari" was driven by The Saint on the TV show. Mine was the European version with metric gauges.

1969 VW Karmann Gia (new) - I modded it a bit and did a lot of sports car rallyes in it.

1971 VW Camper (new) - went accross the country twice with it.

1965 MGB (used) - didn't keep this one long as it broke down constantly.

1975 Fiat X1/9 (new) - needed a lot of maintenace but an incredible handling car. Went on a 3 week honeymoon in that tiny car.

1981 Honda Prelude (new) - my first automatic tranny car.

1975 Volvo 164E (used) - kept it only 1 year as the tranny blew up.

1984 Honda Accord (new) - ok family car.

1986 Chrysler LeBaron GTS Turbo (new) - this car had plenty of giddyup.

1987 Pontiac Fiero SE (new) - what a pig.

1989 Ford Taurus (used) - ok family car.

1994 Ford Taurus SHO (new) - needed a lot of maintenance but a GREAT car.

1994 Chevy Lumina (used) - for my son to go to college.

1999 Ford Taurus SHO (new) - still have this one. All SHOs are GREAT cars.

Impressive list. Which were your favorites?

I loved those rotary engines, and my 1st and 3rd gen. RX-7s. That said, however, my favorite sports car for me was my 350Z. When I owned my TT RX-7s, even though I initially thought of myself as a great driver, time on the track with them quickly made me realize that I had way more car than driver! For that and other reasons, I sold my 95 RX-7 and bought a 97 Civic, a car more in line with my actual driving skills. Since then I've improved my skills (now I'm somewhere around average) and can better evaluate the wonderful capabilities of these cars (that we never can fully appreciate on the street).

My favorite all around coupe was probably the Legend 6-speed. My CLS runs a very close second. My favorite track car (the ITR) will hopefully be dethroned this weekend at Road Atlanta by my new Evo.
