what does "rolled the fender" mean? and info on tire sizes
I looked into getting some 18x8 rims from wheelsone.com I also asked about tire sizes, this is what they said about the CL-S if this helps anyone:
---
The 18x8 do work and they are in stock. 225/40/18 would be the tire size we did some 235/40 but they rubbed so he rolled the fender.
what does rolling the fender mean?
thanks,
g.

Rolling the fenders means you actually bend the inner fender lip up so that your tires will tuck into the fenderwells over large bumps or hard cornering. I've seen it done with a baseball bat. It's scary. Nothing I'd do to my car. My friend tried it on his civic and ended up flaring his fenders as well.

I'd suspect that doing so would weaken the paint on the crease around the wheel well, also creating more of a lip for dirt/water/salt to collect and promote premature rusting. Not something I'd do either.
