welcome to the life of owning a Honda.

Not a CL owner, but I've never been a fan of the 2G rear end styling without the spoiler. Personal preference.

^ agreed

The spoiler shortens the rear up. Without it, the rear just looks like its lazily drooping.

It definitly looks cleaner with no wing.
I done it with 1 wing, 2 wings, now no wing, now I'm looking at lips.
Go figure.

Maybe 3 wings is the sweet spot.

i like the stock spoiler. i seriously think it looks ugly as hell without a spoiler and when it's lowered a lot, it looks too much like a drag car.

ours are easy, especially compared to some other cars (like transverse mounted v-6 toyotas, where you gotta work around the intake manifold, or remove it instead)

on the type S there are 2 things you have to remove

a. some bracket holding a servo of some type that has a cable attached to it
b. ps bracket
c one should really remove the strut bar but that has 4 mounting points lol....I dread having to do the timing belt lol.........

but the result was good since car starts up easier and idles smoothly

I guess the p's have it easy.
No imrc.
As long as I have a magnet I can change all plugs in 10 minutes

I like the car today.
Got a handful of mags and honda tunning had 3 differn't civic's all with j's and 2 of them has the newest hasport motor mounts with 2 mounting holes that let them sit the engine lower to fit under the hood.
hasport is in.
The civic guys are going to make manufactures make more things for our engines.
There's also a Australian made piggy back of one of them called Adaptronic. Anyone heard of them before?

, but i am also a S though....

as far as the imrc box (cable attached thing), is only like three bolts, so not that hard to move out of the way, btw it does not need to be completely removed, just needs to be moved out of the way

and the strut bar, you don't have to remove that at all, just leave it in place, and as far as the t/belt, and the bar LMFAO, you can still just leave it in place again

seen his responses for a while now.

it would be a lot easier with it off the car which is what I noted in the first place. with the IMRC PS bracket and PS line all in the same area, it is not easy to get to the #4 plug on the motor

btw it is 2 bolts holding the IMRC bracket and the third bolt is for the PS bracket. if you take the strut bar off, it allows you to move the IMRC completely out of the way instead of letting it dangle down on the #4 coil pack.....

just a FYI, the #4 cylinder pack is on the front of the motor (next to the radiator, on the d/belt end), so not even under the IMRC motor

and if any thing the #1 cylinder is the bitch of one, that is next to the strut tower, even then it is not that bad at all

also btw maybe you should not do your own timing belt either, since you can't even get the correct cylinder for #1 (if the cylinders were numbered as you have done, your #4 would be the #3 cylinder actually)

oops sorry about that, i was looking at the diagram wrong but leave it to some smart assed 24 year old to make a big deal of it....oh, btw are you not the same kid that ASSumed that i like to hit curbs?

I know you are young and immature and like to smart off to others but if you can't show a little courtesy maybe you should find something better to do with your time. One day you are going to get older and realise that hey maybe I should not continue to make an ASS out of myself by telling others what they should and should not do.........
