I've read on here that some need to be changed as early as 70,000 miles and some people have had theres last double that. I think it depends on the person and how they drive the car.

some people ride their clutch which kills the life span.
example.. ur on a hill and instead of hitting the brakes, then letting go and transferring to the gas/clutch you DON'T use the brake and balance the clutch and gas so u don't roll backwards.
This means u are a good driver TECHNICALLY since you know exactly the engagement point.
however what is in fact happening is you are grinding the clutch on the flywheel and generating a shit load of heat.
yes is is more convenient... (i did it all the time with my probe) (but then again there are not many hills at all in my area or where i drive usually)
So to say if u are a good driver ur clutch will last long.... is definitely not entirely true. also.. downshifting hurts the clutch, and hardcore upshifting obviously doesn't help either.
i say clutch longevity is simply due to driving style.... nothing else.
good drivers beat the shit out of their cars and break parts all the time, so it's not really the drivers fault... it's the driving LOL

I had 103,6xx on mine and it still bit hard. I swapped it out for a CM clutch though.
I still have the stock setup if anyone wants it.
