What Alarm Should i get!!??
I'm about to purchse an alarm for my car but i dont know which on to get......what do you guys have installed on your cars and why???i have the Alpine CVA-1006 in my car and im thinkin about purchaseing an the alpine alarm to go with my tv...let me know

Clifford or Viper. Alpine alarms suck. Stick with a company that only makes alarms.
I've also started to hear bad things about Compustar. Sounds like very cheap components/assembly.

Well the company that makes Viper & a few other alarm systems DEI purchased Clifford a few years ago. They still sell Clifford alarms as Cifford. www.clifford.com

Well I guess you have made up you mind then. No Viper, so that leaves clifford, Alpine, or Compustar. I never had anything but Viper, & had no issues. your right i never had any problems from my viper...but that duplicating problem.....i really dont want it to protect i just want remaote start.....Its COLD!!!!
