well, I got my new car...

As some of you may know, I was in the market for a sedan and ended up looking at Audi for my pick. Setting out to find an A4 3.0 today-- long story short after spending nearly 2 hours dicking around on price for a Demo that had everything in it, I mean everything... I walked when they wouldn't roll the car for $39,500. They wanted $250 more because it was "rare" to find an A4 like it with every package in it.

So, I went to another local dealer and was stunned to find this car in the showroom with everything I wanted, and more for a few thousand more than the A4. Really the only major package I missed is the Nav. which I hear is too complicated in Audi anyway.

Shortly after the A6 - 2.7 T quattro was mine. Loaded with Premium Package, Luxury Package, Bose Sound, and Telematics/ Onstar. We settled at $1500 over invoice then shaved a little more off of that. But geeezz than comes the $3,250 in tax Oh, well I loved driving the car home and feeling I got a pretty good deal. These cars are soooo smooth to drive and the quattro is just amazing. I'll miss my CL in many ways though, I'd keep both If I could. But I'm going to sell her on my own (trade offers were terrible btw).

Nice! I love the A6s...especially the 2.7T. I seriously considered one before I bought the TLS. Congrats and good luck.

Oh and when you have a little spare change buy one of the available chips (GIAC or APR are the two I know)!

I was glad I made the step up too, thing of it was that the A4 with all the options just becomes priced so damn high it made sense to go A6.

For my work and just having more space. Hey, a year or two ago I wouldn't consider a sedan, I feel like I'm getting older or something

Congrats! Nice car!

My friend had a silver A6 2.7T just like yours. We drove to Detriot in it in the winter for the NAIAS. Great car. Very comfortable on long trips, excellent interior and good power on the highway.

When he got the car, he was shopping for an A4 just like you, but decided to get the A6 for only a little more. Much better choice IMO

Yo...that shit is fast right??? When I was looking at the old style A4 , I was at beiner Audi in LI and two guys were goin at it on "I'll use the new Max (2002) and u can pick any one of ur Audi's and we'll see who'll win . The other guy said fine...I get the A6 2.7t...and then the maxima driver was like...hey thats no fair , It's got turbo" hahaha See if you can get some fenders from an A6 w/ the V8 engine . Only the V8's had the nicer flared out fenders . Excellent choice on car bro...good luck!!

about 14.4's on average and chipped maybe 13.6 or 13.7. This is on the Tiptronic.

Car just gets better everytime I drive it, today I put the brakes to good test and I can already tell I like the braking sys. in this car Much better. Now I wanna get some miles on her so I can really get a feel of the car's capibilities

Nate, totally badass. My friend has a 2001 A6, and I LOVE that car. I haven't been in a new one. The interior looks incredible.

have fun with your new car, and be sure and give us a review after you've had ample driving time.

AND DON'T be a stranger bro!

Nate, Congrats !! The A6 looks great, are you gonna do wheels ? I think that there are some great wheels out there that would make it look even better. Smart choice over the A4, alot more car and engine, especially with the mods avaiable for the turbo. Good luck and please get out to one of our meets so we can see it

I remember testing a 2.7TT A6 with a manual tranny about 3 years ago. I was impressed. Also....ah! Audi interiors. The best. Great choice nate and congrats again.
