Well guys, its time to move on....

I just got done basically finalizing a deal for another car and trading the CL-S in. I won't say till I pick the car up next Saturday what it is, but lets say, AWD and 5spd it has . (No not a WRX)Anyways, I have the the stuff in my sig basically forsale now.

I will stick around for a while, but I defintely want a reliable car that does not have tranny problems. Also wanted 4 doors again and a manual tranny! I got a awesome deal for trade in, 24k! But I have to drive to get that price. hehe oh well.

Comptech Springs with stock shocks and everything already assembled ready to go. Make Offer!

Door sills, Acura cl type-s ones. Make offer.

is it a first generation Tri-Syn or is it the new SuperSyn... You know it makes a difference...

Well, I wouldn't say that exactly. Stock its slow. Yes a A4. But with a chip that puts it to 220 hp at the wheels and 260 tq. They run 14.7s with a chip. Not bad! But better fuel economoy, no worry on damn tranny problems, and defintely a nice interior. So it will be a change. I will miss the CL-S for its aggressive feel that is for sure.

Heh better fuel economy only if you drive that way I thought the same when i got my 6speed it's just so much fun. I get about the same as when i had my auto.

I love the interior fo the a4's. Good Luck and don't be a stranger!

24k for the CL-S surprisingly with 13,800 miles.... 31k for the A4. 4 year smart-buy (not a real lease but similar). 48 months 520 a mo, 6% apr (due to my credit, excellent would be 5%). At the end of the term, i can refinance for 2 yrs or whatever u want to do, or hand them the keys and go get something else or trade it in.

Silver, when did your tranny go out?

A4 is a great car so good luck with it. I don't think the 03s are 14.7 even with a chip (I haven't heard of too many running in the 14s with a chip). I think they are a little slower than the pre-03s because they are a little heavier too. I think the GIAC chip might be your best choice because I've heard that they are more aggressive than the APR one. That car is pretty nice and is an awesome overall package (especially with a chip).

Yes they are heavier, but a few have run them and got 14.7s with chips. Dunno how, but I guess its possible.

Russ, congrats on the new car.

I think you meant 220HP/260TQ at the crank though with the chip, not at the wheels. Wheel figures are sorta misleading on those cars so I'm pretty sure most of the chip makers quote their power gains in crank figures. 220 whp / 260 wtq would be much faster than 14.7

Easy: redline clutch drops. If you're willing to do this on your own car, then you can run some good times.

Have fun not worrying about the tranny if you do that though. hehehe
