Webtoker =-> Question for you about your 1/4

Webtoker,

As I thought about your 1/4 mile times a sudden thought popped into my head... You have a V-AFC that is not tuned.. correct? Although you did not tune it to trim fuel and air ratios, did you remember to move the default VTEC engament point L->H from 5800 to 4800 and the H->L from 5400 to ~4400? If you initialized the unit and did not remember to adjust these settings you will not get results that will please you or your track times...? just a thought.......... I am making the assumption that it just sitting there in monitor mode and it has not yet been tuned? Take a look and see just to be sure.........

Chris

The V-AFC I have is only getting signals from the ECU and not sending data to the computer. As far as the computer is concerned it has no clue its there. When I can find a good tuner I will get it dyno'd and tuned. The simple fact is that it was too hot to get the times I wanted out of my car. I ran a 14.6 with just my AEM intake in 50 degree weather. Along with that I drove my car 45 miles and went straight to running on the track. The max time I had between runs was 10 min. I plan on going out there in the next few weeks and doing it right.
