Question Washington DC Paint Shops

Hey guys!
Does anyone live in DC area? I have to repaint my front bumper on my black 01 CLS, any recomends for a good paint shop around here? Just don't wanna get riped by a dealer. And what they charge for a such job?
Thanks in advance.

depends on how far you're willing to travel. i had the guys at Superior in crofton paint the bumber on my old monte carlo SS (paint on the bumper faded from age - the rest of the car was still in very good shape). the guy who did the paint work did a great job. matched the silver paint on the bumper to the silver on the fenders & hood. i believe his name was richard. if you're willing to travel that far look him up.

good luck.

What area of the DC "area" are you looking for? Maryland, DC, Virginia? I've used a good shop in Rockville a few times.

Call Glenn Dale Customs, 301-464-4235.

They do awesome repair and paint jobs, and run a very good shop. Jim owns the company, tell him Grey with the "Gray" Acura sent you . Their prices were lower than everywhere else I went, and the job they did was excellent!!!

Had my rear right quarter panel replaced, and front bumper cover repaired/painted-

The place across the street from the car wash in Kensington?

They didn't do a good job on my mom's old car. Paint didn't match well and refused to redo it.

These guys did an awesome job when I scraped up my car a bit ... I've got a NBP car too. They paint bodykits all the time too, one of the owners has a hooked up IS300.

Work: 1-703-478-9431

Good guys to deal with, guaranteed the car would look like brand new when I got it back. Were a bit pricey, but I like the work they did.

Keep away from the Pohanka body/paint shop. After a little fender bender in my CL they did a great job with the bodywork and paint matching, but when it came to the clearcoat they totally messed it up. When I went to pick it up it looked like someone had keyed it. They buffed it out while I waited but they scratched the chrome trim around the rear 1/4 window

Royal Auto Body in Rockville, outstanding work. They replaced my front bumper and matched paint it perfectly.

What's the general price range you guys are paying for some repaints in this area. I took my car to Color solutions and they did a horrible job on repainting my spoiler, with over spray lines all over. I am wanting to get my front driver's side fender repainted and possibly rear driver's side quarter and trunk lid repainted as well. What general price do these places charge a panel?
