If your front rotors are warped TSB 01-017 should cover turn (if within specs) and replace pads.

I didn’t think that wear n tear parts like breaks-rotors are covered by warranty...check your manual or call dealership.

The TSB only covers the warped rotors. From the post it sound like he just needs new brake pads. If that's the case then it will not be covered. Neither will the alignment. Like Goldie mentioned, both are wear and tear items and are up to you to replace/upkeep.

TSB is a "Technical Service Bulletin". Why do you "think you
needs an alignment, it's kinda off balance"? Bad alignments are usually indicated by uneven tire wear.. YMMV

Alignment is never free (unless you had a deal when you purchased your tires/wheels or something). Pads will be replaced if the problem is as discribed in TSB 01-017 (and they haven't already been replaced), otherwise they are a wear item and you pay..

unless your cai is adding hundreds of hp, then it won't affect your warranty, unless they can prove it caused something possibly covered. but like the others stated, alignment and pads aren't covered

came back from the dealer without any service. they told me if my brake pad has more that 50% left then they'll cover with warranty. and also i got brake job at some lil store and they told me that my rear pads r out too and it's my first brake job. isn't rear one takes more time to wear out?? something wrong with my TL if my front and rear pad wear out sametime??

if the brake pads are worn too much they won't TSB you on the warping. get alignment at firestone. I paid $130 for lifetime alignment.

if you're a DIYer then try doing the brakes yourself. It's not that hard and it only costs about $5 a disc to get them resurfaced at a local auto parts store.

I had my brakes replaced at 13K and again at 30K. When I took my car in for my 30K service, I told them to check the brakes and I did not want the service done till they told me what they were going to do with the brakes. I got a call later in the day and they told me they would replace my brakes again as long as I did the 30K service.

yes, front and rear pads wear out about the same time on CL,TL and RL. Do you have any brake squeak with those aftermarket pads?

Not sure with Acura but I've been able to get an alignment out of other car companies within the first year or less than 12000 miles. If the car pulls during that time period, they will check it and for me have aligned as a service adjustment under warranty.
