As you may know, I bought an extended waranty from these guys and they are not honoring my claim stating they are undergoing liquidation. Well, I registered a complaint at

And I hope that you guys who have this company, to file a complaint as well, and spread the word to other forums and folks and encourage them to file a complaint against Warranty Gold to seek future compensation.

Something may happen, it may not. I want them to know that they WILL NOT just take my money and walk away from me while I stand by silently. I paid for a service in good faith, and Damnit! I want either my service, or a refund.

Be a good business and honor my contract!

 

I too have posted a complaint with the web site you gave. I used you case number in my description of problem. Hopefully something will become of this. Keep us informed fo any news.

No offense guys, but this makes me feel a little better at buying the Extended from Acura cause I was covering the tranny issue.

Then they go and extend the warranty on the tranny...

 

Agreed.. but there's no need to be mad about the tranny extension.. b/c that only covers the tranny.. if you bought an extended warranty... everything is covered. P.S... I too bought from Acura... it wasn't much more, and I'm glad I did.

BTW, good luck with that Warranty Gold thing. It sucks.. but if the company went out of business like I've been reading.. then you're probably screwed unless they get picked up by another company who also buys all of their contracts. If they are out of business you will likely not get any money back and no claims will be honored (obviously... b/c they're closed). What will likely happen is they will be liquidated to pay off all of their debts, then, if there's any money left over.... some refunds may be issued. Sucks when a company goes under... but there's not much you can do....
