I haven't been in one, but I know the wards retail stores are doing discount sales. Does anybody know if their auto stores are too? Maybe some of you guys and get your mobil one for dirt cheap??? I'm more intrested in a power washer but I don't know if those would be in their auto stores.

i am in assignment in westminster, md...i think the autozone is having it too as i think the whole company is going out of business, but i know that the one in westminster has the 'going out of business sale' sign on the autozone store too.

i think you'll save a couple bucks here and there, but nothing major...i got a sony stereo receiver and saved like $30 from what i would pay at best buy, but i got 2 cool jackets at 50% off (one was a polyurethane one, the other was like a spring jacket).

Just so there's no confusion, AutoZone auto parts stores are NOT owned by Montgomery Ward's, and they're not going out of business.

we're not talking about Autozone, we are talking about Ward's autozone (lowercase 'a')...it's comparable to sears auto centers (separated from the main dept. store).
