Wanted: Latest NAV update

Was wondering if anyone has a copy of the latest NAV update DVD (from earlier this year) for sale? Can't remember what the version is called (2.0?) and with search down, can't find any previous posts on it. Thanx.

The latest is version 2.05F.

If I were you I would wait a bit.
There should be a new one out in September/October.

I'll sell you my 2.05F at that time for cheap if you're still looking.

Thanx for the info and the offer Shawn. I might be interested still in Sep/Oct, however, I'm hoping to get an update before my travels in late Jul.

I still have the orginal that came with the car in 2000. Whatever version that is? It's doing nothing but sitting in the glove compartment. I've upgraded once since then. You want that one?

Look in your owners manual. They list a number (or just call the general number) to call to order an updated DVD if you want one. My father-in-law just ordered one for his '00 RL and I believe the price was $157. Just install it in your DVD player and it does a self-update that takes a minute or two.

I beleive most navi owners with the 2001 Ack will be updating when this new version comes out. Texas is building so much, I find myself off the map alot, not to mention new buisnesses and old shut down buisnesses that aren't on the DVD.

It sure would be nice if someone with a DVD burner would like to hook up some of us that want the new version later this year. Might be a little crooked, but I am always looking for a hookup.

PS
For that certain non-straight (and I don't me gay) entrepeanuer (sp?), you can PM me if you want to do this discretely.

If the new Fall update is as it supposed to be (new and improved and all inclusive), I think we'll all be upgrading.

Remember the roads never really disappear, they just add more. So the old versions are still pretty good. Mine will be up for sale this Fall (I have 2.04) for $25.

Yea, I looked at buying the 2.05F from the Acura site, but it's WAY too expensive. My version from my '01 doesn't even have my town on it (Tucson) However, the newest version does. I remember some members selling some "copied" 2.05F DVDs earlier this year. (it IS legal to make a personal back-up copy of ANY software, just not legal to sell it to anyone) So if someone has the means to forward me a back-up, I could pay you for the, uh, cover, yeah, that's it, for the cover.
