i tried the white led's and it makes the tail light look pink. i used a 28 LED bulb i believe and thing was bright as hell. i've got led boards all over the car from 48 led's in the center dome to 12 leds on the doors thing is really bright. i have 15% tints all around and when i unlock my car the center dome turns on and the whole car is lit up could see my whole interior.

IT's actually both used in the tail light 2 of one and 3 of the other as there are 5 bulbs on each side....

I have done a full LED conversion on the interior of my CL. The door lights (step lights), map lights, license plate light, glove box light, and trunk light are all wedge LED's 194's. The Dome light is just a festoon LED, mine is a 9 led one i think. I agree with Fluffy, with all the bulbs i've tried the tails won't ever be as bright. and with all the driving, you might not be much life out of them.

I have 4 in each side im sure

2 7440( single filiment) for reverse and signal

2 7443 (dual filiment) for brakes and running lights

I tried a 28 led orange buld because I thought it would be bright but not make my light go white (or apairently pink) and it wasent as bright as stock

let me rephrase that it was bright in one spot ( brither thatn stock) but dime every where else so unless u want 2 dots in your tails stick with stock or take the tails apart

Oh and I have over 600 leds inside my car
