Dirty Type-S

here is the original poem :
'Twas the night before Christmas and caught at the light,
was a Pontiac GTP and no cops in sight,

I will try, I will try, I will try with this small motor,
To beat this black Grand Prix, even with its Eaton blower,

As the light goes green and I pull like no joke,
The GTP next to me erupts in clouds of front tire smoke,

Now Smasher, now Revver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,
These are the names of my four VTEC pistons,

Racing ahead I'm the star of the action,
But I know I'm in trouble when that supercharged V6 gets traction,

Grabbing second, I hear the RPM sing,
My rear view mirror is blocked by my three foot wing,

I now hear the roar, of that supercharged V6 gaining,
It is all I can do to keep this four-banger straining,

In a second, the shockwave hits with a blast,
And my stickers go flying now, all things of the past,

Don't bother with third, cause now it's too late,
Just try to act cool, like you can relate,

Looking up at the taillights as they got smaller,
The driver backs off just long enough to give me a holler,

"You can't win them all," he says waving,
"You may not win any at all in that silly little thing"

I smile and revved my four banger as he pulled out of sight,
With my new mods tomorrow... I'm sure it will be a better night.

But I know I'm in trouble cuz my Slushbox keeps slippin,

Grabbing second, i cant be to kind,
look to my left i hear the blower whine,

I now hear the roar, of that domestic V6 ,
till Vtec Kicks in , and im back in the mix

shifting to fourth, im walking it out,
i want a 6speed without a doubt.

Don't bother with fifth, cause now it's too late,
i never liked shifting thru the gate,

getting the kill i, i limp away,
driving this slushbox is a task every day,

if only i had 4 G's for my supercharger,
i would whine like the best and pull even harder,

i flicked on my hazards and gave him a wave,
maybe next time he will wish he had gotten a v8.

domestic motors are things of the passed,
a my small honda motor is just as fast,

where we lack of displacement, is our beautiful ladies,
read a Mustang mag lately? the women are in there eighties.

High import nights and Sema conventions,
i dont want to see a Old peson muscle car auction.

chip foose and barret jackson and lingenfelter too,
but top secret and mugen will definetly do.

next time i pull up to a domestic machine,
ill have a smile and wait for the green.
