To VSA or Not to VSA? That is the question.

I'm a little confused about the VSA feature in my '01. I understand it's purpose and I have witnessed some of it's funtionality durring a drive in fairly dep snow. What I'm confused about is if I'm drag racing, do I want it on or off? My Falken's that are on the car get pretty good traction either way on dry pavement and I can't really tell a diffence with it on or off. It's my understanding that it's much more sophisticated than just simple traction control traction control. Can someone clairify?

u want it off, esp off the line. tire spinning will cause VSA to decrease throttle and i think in extreme cases to even apply braking but im not sure on that one.

do a search u can find more info

Off

VSA will cut the throttle if it detects the slightest wheel slip.

Definitely turned off.

Unless I'm driving on the highway or in the snow, I always turn VSA off.
