VSA and !

As I was driving my '02 CL-S on the highway all of a sudden I heard a bang as if a rock hit the right front corner of the car. (in the wheel well area) I then noticed the VSA indicator and the ! symbol were on steady and never went off. When I got to my destination and shut the car off I then restarted it and the indicators did not come back on. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Mine did that once before to me, but hasn't happened since. Manual discusses this and says if the light stays on, turn off the car (this resets the system). If light goes away when the car is turned back on, your fine. If it stays on, go see your friendly neighborhood Acura dealer

You might have taken out a speed sensor on that wheel. The VSA wouldn't be able to work properly without the wheel speed, and would give an error.

Also, if this is the case, you probably lost ABS as well.
