For those who signed up are in for a treat, the event was absolutely awesome. The place is set up as an Autocross and you get to beat the shit out of S60Rs and V70Rs.....they even have a timed run at the end to see who wins. They actually break you up into groups of 15. These guys encourage you to romp on the cars.

Very impressive car, the adjustable suspension is really cool and the Brembos were great. The car had excellent power, little bit of lag which I expected. I was extremely surprised at how nice the interior was, much better than I was expecting. I think I'm sold, will probably test drive the S4 though (why not).

Volvo doesn't fool around, they had race car drivers from Bondurant and Skip Barber there instructing each group.

This took place at Shea Stadium, you have to be 21 to drive the cars.

i was the 8 - 10 bracket

 

I was at the 1-3 Timeslot, there was no way I was going to be able to orchestrate the 3 friends who signed up for this thing to get up at 6AM on a Sunday (wasn't going to happen).
