I found a copy of the TSB here:

http://acuramdx.org/forums/showthrea...oto=nextnewest

it's posted by "thodgdon" and the filename is called "sb-10001341-7274.pdf"

http://acuramdx.org/forums/attachment.php?postid=250678

it does show on there that it is for MDX's. If I don't see one for the CL, I'm gonna be complaining to Acura soon.

Fact....There is a TSB for this

Fact....My car did this & was fixed under warranty with the note that said "dimple ring as per TSB" on the invoice

Fact....Other's have had this happen & it was fixed.

Fact.... your dealer is clueless. Go somewhere else.

I don't think it was the dealership. I was dealing with a service manager that I'd never dealt with before (new guy) that probably didn't know what he was doing or unaware of the TSB for the CL in the first place. In the past if I ever had an issue it ALWAYS got resolved with the other service managers that I've talked to. I've been going to this dealership for about 9 years now and they know me by name.

Even still I have yet to see the actual TSB for the CL but have seen the TSB for the MDX which is quite old now. For some reason helminc.com doesn't even list the TSB for the MDX and the CL and they sell the TSB's to the public. their inventory is probably just not updated.

I just wanna see the TSB for the CL. that's not too much to ask for.

Had the brass ring "dimpling" done as per TSB 03-015 to a low mileage CLS-6 I picked up this month. Fixed the problem. Dealer charged me 2.2 hrs, came out to $470 + taxes. (I was expecting 1.5 hrs as described in the TSB, but apparently that's how much time Acura America allots mechanics for warranty work; I guess when working on regular folks cars mechanics are given more time.
