Vin Number Decoded...
So what is the deal with the VIN NUMBER? How to tell if you when your ride was made off the production line?
My last six digits are: 002690
so what, it is car #2690?

well there's a production month and year on one of the stickers too...check out the black and white square sticker on the bottom of the inside door frame and look in the top right-hand corner i believe
but yea, the last 5 digits should b the production #...for u, it's the 6-speed production #

Go here for everything you wanted to know about the CL but were afraid to ask: http://www.geocities.com/gamesmgr/chod/acura/#Info17
There is no distinction between auto and 6spd prod #'s. Each car was assigned a prod number as it's built. There is not one set of prod numbers for 6spd and another for autos. It would be nice if there were, as we could figure how many 6spd were built (2700 is the assumed number of 6spds).
Your car is the 2690 CL built for the 2003 model year.
