The gauges are 2-1/16” round Autometer UltraLite gauges. I chose the position because I didnt want to draw attention. It is very sleeper and when friends hop in the car they always want to talk about it. I completed the install about three weeks ago. The gauge on the left is a wideband Air/Fuel gauge and the one on the right is a Boost/Vacuum gauge. The MP90 is coming fellas. I promise! I’ve had to redo several things in preparation, including support myself. There are a few parts outside of the blower unit I have to fabricate. It’s not complicated, I just have to get to the shop and do it.
I used a Dremel to do all the work. It’s not complicated. It took a couple of hours from start to finish and I did have to repaint the little black pocket the gauges are mounted in flat black. I scratched it up a bit. While reassembling everything I wrapped Teflon tape on all the metal clips that hold the panels together and in the screws. The center console does not rattle or squeak anymore. I did have to send my boost gauge back to Autometer because(you can see it in some of the pics) it wasnt calibrated properly. I was dissapointed they made me pay to ship them a bad gauge they sold me new. Enjoy, Jim.

I forgot to mention, In picture six from the top, I had to grind off about a 1/3” chunk off the top passenger side corner of the tan plastic that makes up the shifter lever housing. If you look at that pic, you can see a blue wire that is hanging right over the tan portion I had to grind the chunk out of, right above the linkage to move the lever forward and backward, above it and to the right, that corner. There is some metal behind it that holds that linkage to the tan plastic and I had to grind some of it away. It was about 1/8” thick. I had to grind it out to clear the vacuum tube from the back of the gauge. Hope that makes sense. You can see what I had to grind off in pic 10.

Whatever floats your boat. I love it! It looks very trick in person. I have absolutely no problem seeing my gauges. Not once have I wanted to know something and not been able to see, immediately, what I needed to. They are for diagnostics purposes and there is no reason to be staring at your gauges for anything longer than a glance when driving.

Yes, I can but not all the way. I never used it but maybe twice in the 112,000 miles I have owned the car. It never crossed my mind when I put the gauges in. I still use the in dash outlet regularly and have had no problems with cell phone chargers.
