using Zaino on fresh paint?

just had my passenger door repainted after someone damaged it with a shopping chart and raced away. anyway it's recommended that polishing be done 3months from now...i'm worried about all that salt during the winter. Does anyone have experience applying polish to a fresh paint job? any help?

yes we've talked about this topic before last year sometime, prob during the winter also...unfortunately, u do have to wait to Zaino the door...as far as time period to wait, i'd wait the absolute minimum 1 month...if u rinse off the door from time to time with warm/semi-hot water and do a onceover with a soapy sponge, u should b able to keep the door clean until u Zaino...i believe even washing the door is a bit risky for a period of time...is there any way u could limit exposure to the elements for the first few days to a week???
