I know that the 2001 CL has been around for almost a year now. Does anyone know of any Junk Yards that might have one there? I have been looking online all night so far looking for a front bumper assembly with no luck. I banged mine up pretty good a few weeks ago and have been putting off having it fixed. A black bumper cover would be awesome to find!

If you know of any place please let me know. I just paid $1500 to have the other guys car fixed and now I'm broke!

There are a few other links for parts so somebody should post them for you. I remember two. Sorry if I'm prying but why not insurance? How high of a deductable do you have since you've already paid $1500? Do you not have no-fault insurance by you?

As far as insurance goes.. This past October my 3000GT was stolen and it was recovered all smashed up. The CL-S was my replacement. I'm still under my Dad's insurance and I didnt want to have to put another claim in. I hate insurance companies. This was my first accident since I've been driving for 10 years, but I didnt want to get my dad screwed out of being dropped or anything like that.
I've got a friend of the family that says he can fix my car for around $700
My local shop said he can do it for $1200

I just went to the www.copartfinder.com website and they did have 3 CL's that were crashed But they were all front end smashes. They were all pretty banged up. I hope nobody got killed in them!

It may be far away, but I know there's a place in DFW that has a black bumper assembly for the CL-S. The body shop tried to replace my bumper with these parts when I had my accident, but the car was only 3 days old, so I made them use new parts. Their information is below:

Thanks a lot for the info!!! I will call them in the morning. How much did it end it costing you or your insurance co. after the bumper was fixed? You cant tell the difference from the original one and the new one can you, as far as paint?

By the way.. did you see the condition of that bumper?

The cost of the bumper cover was $170 by itself. I'm not exactly sure what the cost is for the rest of the bumper assembly, but my total bill was $6000 for both front and rear damage. I can't tell any difference in the paint on the new and replacement parts. They did a good job matching the black. As for the condition of the used bumper, I didn't see it, but was told that it was in good shape. Maybe the parts shop can email you a picture.

I just got a response back from the guy you suggested... He said that he doesnt deal with retail customers. Oh Well. I just want to get this damn thing fixed! I hate when people look at that part of the car only!
