Updated firmware version on navi with another disc, but...
I borrowed a friend of mine's navi dvd and updated the firmware on my unit as described in this thread:
Update DVD software with a newer disc
The update went fine... the new software works great BUT....
now my AC controls no longer function. The fan comes on high, but you can't control it whatsoever. Even the off button on the dash won't shut it off.
The vent controls seem to work. But you can't turn on the A/C or control the speed of the fan.
I tried unhooking the positive terminal on the battery and let the car sit for 15 minutes... but that didn't seem to help.
Anyone have any ideas on what to do or seen this before?
