Update to the Update - Navi DVD

My g/f ordered the updated Navi DVD for me, expecting a January delivery. The rep told her it was being pushed out to February because they were fixing problems with the updated one. WTF? Has anyone else heard this or are they just delaying again?

The update, Version 2.11 was released and a number of us have already gotten it. Yes, there is a bug in it that some people here have exerperienced with the 'previous destination' feature. So they're fixing that. Sucks that it's going to take them until Feb. though.

2.11b is released. If it works without the reported bugs, I think you'll find that you now have a pretty nice map and database.

2.11c is reported to be the next version with all known bugs fixed.

I don't think you can purchase 2.11b anymore. If you already have one, they are suppose to send you an update CD that will turn your 2.11b into 2.11c.

Who knows when this will happen. I suspect later than sooner.

In the meantime, since mine is working perfectly (to my knowledge)....

My 2.11b has the aforementioned 'bug' where nothing happens when I touch the Previous Destinations menu. Not that huge of a deal, but I'd like it fixed.

Well, the car will be 4 years old in May of 2004. So much for the Acura "promise" of yearly updates (and I ain't even gonna mention the "free" part of the equation). Maybe they were using Jupiter "years" when they said once a year.
