UPDATE for SEMA BODY KIT FROM ONDERGROUND-DESIGN

Hi again

After over a dozen of meeting, we will accept the only 5 owner who gave us deposit to built the kit. Since $450 us is not enough, onderground-design will invest and develop this kit for you.

Here some questions and answer for you, customers

Q: how is made the body kit ?

R: the body kit is 6 parts, fiberglass, 4 layer overlapped, very thick, strong, no bubble no crack. and it also come Primered ready to paint.

============

Q: What does it include ??

R: 1 front bumper replacement, 1 back bumper replacement, 2 side skirt and 2 door cap for a wide body sideskirt.

===========

Q: Is this painted ???

R: of course not, we ship all parts primered, ready to paint

===========

Q: will you ship to me ? I live in USA and you are in canada

R: Yes of course, The price of shipping is $160 for 8-10 weeks shipping and $220 for 3-4 weeks, witch include box price, taxes, duty, handling and packaging

===========

Q: will I be able to install this myself ?

R: we never suggest that you install a body kit yourself, door panel for wide body kit needs high level experiance to attach side panel to your car. You should hire an professional body worker that can paint also

=============

Q: When should it be ready ??

When we will have Soopa Car ( 2 weeks ) allow after 4 more weeks.

=============

Q: How much will it cost ?

R: the 5 first customer, listed below

SOOPA: $100
LOSEIT : $100
SPIROH : $100
RONDOG: $50
BIGMAN: $100

will have their kit for $1000, minus their deposit. But since we havent found 10 deposit, the kit will be a little more after production. A Cl class car need what it deserve, premium quality

Here some picture to remember

Thanks you. We will contact you real soon for furthur informations

Since they re-designing the front bumper cover, why not make it so we can put real foglights on?

I assume it's the second one (silver) since they're making the door panels.

Wouldn't the kit be better off without the door panels though, I mean, wouldn't be less complicated and easier to remove. I've never had any experience with this type of work, but having panels go over the stock doors just doesn't seem like such a great idea to me, unless you're going completely one-off custom.

damn...this still boggles my mind. Honda went and made two copies of the kit for the SEMA CL's yet they won't make a few more for the consumers. Very strange tactics they have over there.

Well, I'm glad at least someone has stepped up to the plate and did something about it.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

That body kit looks so cool. Exactly how much will it cost an individual person like me to buy the kit. I also love the exhaust the way it fits in so perfect. Will that be available or does anyone know where I can get it?

Has anyone found out if this company will also produce the surface mount spoiler as seen on the SEMA CL? They make no mention of it that I can find!

I also would be very interested in buying this, but as i said reguarding giving a deposit, i will await the finished product....only question is will the back bumper piece include the cutouts for the exsaust tips, and how do you plan on doing that since the 03 tips are larger then the 01/02 tips? Thanks.

Hey.......I wouldnt mind gettin' in on the action. I think however that I'm gonna wait to see if there are any kinks that need to be worked out on the prototypes first. There's alot of really good questions that need to be addressed, especially about the exhaust tips.

We will make you a proposal for an 100% sema spoiler style... LOL !!!

No seriously we could make one identical, no joke. We will do it when we have SOOPA CAR !

Im waiting for him now... we would be ready for the 2nd of February and we require approx 4-5 weeks for a complete 7 parts kit like it!

ch1276, send your deposit via paypal, Soopa know the adress.

For the back bumper, most of you have aftermarket single exhaust, we have 2 option, we wouldl design a new style on drawing that YOU will approve or we use the sema style and just make an exhaust round of 5-6 inch wide

I will show you some drawing soon!

Thanks

Eric

Confused!! Are they saying that if you want the kit they will only offer it to those who have payed the deposit up front? Or will those of us waiting to see what it looks like have a chance to purchase it later?

Eric @ onderground-design...

Please add my name to the list of those who want a SEMA style spoiler. While I have emailed you directly at your offices, my email address is as follows: (in case you have misplaced it)

A lot of us still have the OEM exhaust....Will you make an application for stock exhaust?

I am willing to put a deposit down on production, I just want to see one made kit or assurance that the money will be refunded if the kit wont deliver the SEMA look....

i am confused... the front bumper is easy but the rear bumper.... #1 is it gonna be black in the middle just like sema??or it s just body color
#2.. how is the exhausts gonna fit??
#3.. how is the fitment? cuz 90% of the Custom bodykit doesnt fit that good.
#4 does it come with the Grills?

Can you provide square tips for the pipes so it looks the same as the SEMA CL? Also will the back bumper still be a grayish color on the lower bottom middle like thr Audi A4's? That looks HOT!

I'd just make the exhaust cutouts the same size as stock. It'll fit factory exhaust, comptech exhaust, Greddy Exhaust, HKS exhaust...whatever.

I agree Aaron.

Just a thought...

I think the S2000 cutout is closely the same as it has the gray color lower piece.

Notice the space you have to work with. You could easily fit the stock Ovals or Round aftermarkets here.

All talk....90% of these guys here that say they want the kit will flake when you release final pricing on the product....or it wo't live up to their expectations.

Hahahahahaha! I bet you're 100% correct.

It's unbelievable how many people have chimed in, "Oh, I'll defiantely buy one it there is this and that and this and that."

Boy, I'm glad I don't work in a customer service field because by this time I would have said SHUT THE F*** UP!

And, a for the hope of getting it exactly like the SEMA kit--didn't they say like three months ago that it couldn't be exactly the same for copyright reasons? Sheesh.
