UPDATE: CL.com PLATE FRAMES
**UPDATE**
Here's the email i got from btm creations:
1) 11.99 + 3.50 seems fairly reasonable.
3.50 is the new standard rate for USPS so they're not charging extra handling fees.
2) I'll be adding one more design to BTM's site soon
3) Their site has prices updated so it looks like you can order one right now, but not the silver one with black lettering yet

My thoughts,
1) The rate is currently 15.99 + 4 shipping.
The talk about the rate increase from 15.99 to 17.99 in the near future could be bait?
2) I'm not sure how much of a demand to expect for these chrome plates. If theres a huge demand, then I'll let them know about it and negotiate lower rates. (In my first email to them I already asked for less)

Our frames are metal with a choice of chrome or black finish. We offer 21 colors for background and lettering in over 400 combinations.
Our lettering is done with a special printing technique. We know of no one else offering this type of product (we do NOT use engraved
plastic strips). It allows our lettering to be bigger and bolder than our competition and also allows us to include graphics and logos. Our
prices may be higher than those offering plastic frames or metal frames with engraved plastic inserts but quite frankly, they are worth it.
Attached is a gif file of your request as it could appear on a chrome frame. The lettering is white with a black background done in
SWIS721 BT type face. We can do whatever type face you would like and whatever color combination you would like.
As far as pricing goes we will be increasing our basic frame price from $15.99 to $17.99 in the near future. We may be able to work out something with you for exact repeat orders received within the next 45 days or so. How many orders do you anticipate? Our shipping price ($4.00 per package) will remain the same (we can ship up to 2 frames per package). We do offer quantity discounts for larger orders shipped to the same address (please refer to our web page under Product Information and Pricing).
