Unsuccessful Shock Sensor Install

Well I followed all the instructions that I found on those 3 FAQ's, but it still woundn't work. Twisted the blue and white wire together put the o-ring on the ground and the female prong on the red wire and connected everything. But it just doesn't work, I know the power works because I see a couple of lights blink on the unit. I just think I tapped into the wrong wire. Can someone snap a new picture of the yellow-grey dotted wire. Also can I just tap into the front of the fuse box? And any help wound be great as i really want to install the unit.

Thanks

To tell you the truth, I found it easier just pushing the fuse\relay box out. The harness plugged into the side of the fuse box contains the yellow wire you need. This picture helps:

That harness has both the black ground wire and the yellow wire with silver dots. If I get a chance, I will try to snap some pics, but the picture above really helps.

CT did you take out the fuse box? I found it MUCH easier by taking the fuse box out, I didn't have to lay down under the dash.

Nope i will try. See I think that I located the wire, but it really tight to get to right? So I think i might need to get to the fuse box out.

Just another question before I try it again. You don’t need to connect the ground to that black wire you stated in the harness right? I can just put it to a screw with metal?
