Unbolting Exhaust
does anyone know how to unbolt the exhaust to the '01 CLS? I was just wondering cause my friend told me it would make my car louder and i wanted to try it out. If you could please respond or PM me thanks.

There are 4 bolts that need to be removed (2 for each side) and are located at the junction between the pip that connects the Y pipe to each of the muffler cans. After unbolting, all u gotta do is dislodge the mount points (2 each muffler) from the rubber hangars if ur intention is to take them off too.

I got mine off and my new exhaust on in less than 30 min and it was my first time trying this with out an impact wrench...now granted it would have been better with one...it was still a breeze with out.
