Uh Oh!!!
uh oh bad news........no SRX for us..my parents just talk to desimone cadillac and they decided they dont like the fit and finish for the price..we had it narrowed down to a couple cars MB ml350 (too much daimlar parts my dad boss has one and he dont, like it) iszuzu ascender (not worth it for the price).......and the last 2 we r stuck between should we go for a honda pilot or acura MDX.....we no they r almost the same car but the MDX just more luxorious...pilot with leather and navi 32000ish.....MDX with navi 43000ish...my parents rnt cheap they just dont like to be paying for more that u can get in another package for cheaper....they said its like the dollar store u can get the same shit at Giant for 4.99 but in the dollar store its just a "damaged product (same with few fawls) for .99 go figure"......well we still deciding few things r my mom doesnt care for pilot styling but loves MDX.....what we hope to get is good rebates on a 2004 or markdowns on leftover 2003

Lincoln Aviator, very nice rig and you can get 0% financing on them.....plus good discounts.
Powerful V8 (I know they would prefer a V6), roomy 3rd row seating standard, great interior (impressive quality overall).
Its main downside are the brakes, which aren't bad...but not that great either.
The Volvo is nice, but the 4spd auto sucks.

I understand your parent's dilema on the MDX and Pilot argument. Value.
As you probably know, the Lincoln Aviator is a gussied up Ford Explorer / Merc Mountaineer. Less luxury (like the MDX vs Pilot), but "fairly" close nevertheless.
Myaybe find a leftover Lexus RX300? Or, soon to be replaced Infiniti QX4?
Happy shopping!
