Two Thumbs Up for Santa Monica Acura Service
My wife just picked up our '01 TL after they performed its 15,000 mile service and the charge was only $128! They deducted the price of an oil change since I changed out Mobil 1 less than 2500 miles ago, and applied a 10% discount from a flyer they recently sent me. But even with the deduction and discount, I still expected the service to cost more.
In any event, good service and good prices. I recommend them to anyone in So Cal.

service but not sales
Their service might be great, just don't try to buy a car from them. I had a terrible experience there trying to lease a CLS last summer. My experience there and the lack of respect I got all the way up to the GM there led me to send a nasty letter to Acura (which was never responded to) and to not buy an Acura period.
To make a long story short, they were inattentive, disrepectful to my wife and I and showed NO interest in selling me a car (actually told me to come back some other time as they didn't have anyone that could help us). When we did come back to try again, they tried to play all kinds of numbers games (like not being willing to show me the selling price of the car in the lease deal) that made me throw up my hands and walk away.
Don't get me wrong, Honda/Acura makes some great cars. Too bad some of their dealers don't know how to sell them.
