Turning notepad tray into cd holder

I never knew Acura made something like this.

I'll see how it works.

Interesting. That would be a lot better than the card holder I have now.

Very interesting and clever. Let us know when you get it. The only problem is that I have the blackwood trim.

That's pretty cool but my tray won't open anymore because I stuck my XM Roady in front of it. It was a useless try for me anyhow.

Cool, if it fits the 2nd gen CL/TL. but I don't have a notepad tray.
I didn't know the 1st gen TL had a tray either.
How many do they hold, just 2? that's lame.

my dad had a 2000 TL with the CD holder.

As I recall, it didn't really hold many CDs. I remember thinking it was pretty useless.

nice find, that thing is pointless there for me, I never even use it, and I have CD's stuffed in the slot of my metra kit, might look into this.

That looks pretty cool, let us know how it works. It would be a lot more useful than sticking them in the back of the passenger seat.

I always stick mine in the sunvisor. That would work well for me. I have to wait untill I get paid to get one though.

If you carry that many CD's in your car you should get an ipod.

I have an ipod and I use it but its way more annoying changing songs on and ipod than my cd player....so whenever I get a new cd I use my cd player instead of ipod so I have a few lying around. This looks like a good place for them

But can you actually get it anymore? Just cause it's listed doesn't mean Acura still makes it.
I have never seen one before.

Thats pretty cool, altho since i have an mp3 player w/blitzsafe i dont carry cd's anymore. I always have 6 cd's in the player tho, in the event i dont have my player.

I think i maybe have opened that tray 5 or 6 times the entire time i've owned my car, and most of those were just detailing the interior. Its so useless.

You only need the insert. I swapped my CD holder for the notepad holder a long time ago. I have a 99TL.

Got it today. Fits fine, matches fine, & works fine. It only holds 4 disks though, not 6. I should be able to rig(stack) a few cd's together to make it 6.
