Actually the manifold plumbing would be easier (smaller turbo though and might require a dry-sump on the oil-return if its too low... or a self-lubricated turbo). The intake piping would be so-so... if it uses the liquid-air IC... easy as well.

you could always put the exaust piping from the front over the top of the engine and just put a hood scoop in for the extra room you'd need .

They were ET Drags... mounted in Bogarts - not streetable wheels by any means.

They were custom-made and ran $300 / rim. The tires were $250'ish each. They get good traction but these cars need much bigger slicks IMO but then axles will start breaking - its a lose-lose situation. Axles to handle 500-600hp (in a heavy car) start at around $800 each!

Hey, good to hear from you Cheston - you definateley have a beautiful car! I sure would like to go to LACR... but my FWD makes it pointless unless I have slicks.

In any case... we should chat.

Welcome to Acura-Cl.com!!

Since everybody (acura-cl.com and my350Z.com) has an opinion about everything... please clarify the following if you could:

(a) What kind of boost were you pushing that day
(b) What have you dyno'd previously at that boost level

My answers to those questions are (on my setup):

(a) ~5.5 to 5.8psi
(b) Haven't dyno'd yet

Why would you assume any of this based on what is known?? The 6-Speed seems to be pretty strong. The internals seem to be fine but there is no real proof either way until we get more time with these types of power levels.

Yeah... it would be bad if 'the' rod breaks!

Obviously this guys doesn't know our motors don't have connecting rods! We have gear driven pistons...that's why the stock internals can handle all this power.
