Yes it takes spark plugs lol. Are there engines that don't?

What's your mileage? Pull one plug and check their condition. Get ngk iridiums, don't skimp. Take off the intake manifold and clean out the egr passages. There's a diy here somewhere. Change the trans fluid, check the intake filter. There is a cabin filter behind the glove box, most don't bother changing that.

LOL. Wow, I meant spark plug wires.. I know Oil & Oil Filter, Trans Oil(Honda), "Spark Plugs", Pcv valve and Garmet.. what else? and Im assuming the trans filter doesnt need replacement like Honda's. right?

The previous owner used Vavoline Oil and Filter. Will it be safe to switch back to Honda Oil? It says in the manual to use it. and is it safe to put Lucas Oil in it?

haha, i was going to say....

i use synthetic, but i'm not super picky on brand. These motors get a lot of carbon buildup over the years. Cleaning out the intake manifold erg ports will help. or you can buy my ported runners and manifold....the erg ports are nice and clean!

i'm not familiar with the auto trans so i'll let someone else chime in on that.

more hp and better air flow. the J engines love air. you'll see great gains from big intake, throttle body and porting. our runners and manifold have nasty casting marks and there was quite a bit of material to come off just to gasket match them.
I saw a 8th gen accord dyno with p2r ported runners and he gained over 10whp and 20wtq.

i've done a few sets now with a lot of research and time. its not difficult work, but it's time consuming and messy.
