tune up/ 60k mile service **** noob****

got a 2001 cl-s, took it in to my local acura dealer to have breaks looked at and they offered/recommended their 60k mile service job. it seemed to me like a basic full inspection and tune up. replace all fluids check a bunch of cables, the works basicly. they wanted to charge me almost $500 to do this. i declined the offer and just had them put new front breaks on, cause thats what i needed.

now i really would like to add CAI to my car but was wondering if i should have this service done first. and is that a reasonable price for thier service? it seems kinda high to me

oh yeah, my car has 73k miles on it

Mods do not void your warranty unless they can prove that the mod was the cause of the failure. You can put it on and not worry.

Yeah that sounds high. If you get it done at a dealer it should be between $320-$380 for 60k service at least thats the going rate for my area and I'm in L.A.

do not go with what any service writers recommend... i work at POHANKA acura... they just want to sell you service for there own benefit... do what you really need and tell them to shut the fuck up...
