Trip down to AC: Chipped GTi vs Stock CL-S
My roommate has a silver 2000 GTi and we headed down to Atlantic City at around 2 in the morning. His car is dropped with stock rims, CAI, BOV, ECU which adds 50 horses and about 35 torque, and silver tints, let me tell you, this car is a SILVER BULLET...before the chip, he'd always get his ass handed to him, but now all I have to say is WOW
...we need an ECU like that. The 140 mile trip was a blast, especially since it was on the Garden State Parkway, all we did was test out the 2 cars seeing who could take who at what speed. Once in a while we would see a
ricer and show him why stickers don't help your 0-60 :pfawk:. The CL-S is a great car, and it's definitely fun to drive when you have a friend on the road driving the competition.
BTW: He's gettin rims now because his car hops all through 1st and half of second. With the BOV, the little turbo scares the shit outta pedestrians walking the streets
. All I can think about is how much money it would cost to turn a CL-S into a 3.2 liter turbo...and the horses that would come out of that...too bad the CL-S is FWD.

Cost Drivers!!!!
Unfortunately, there would some difficulty adding a turbo to the current setup without some work. Our compression ratio is a bit high. I think this has been discussed before. Although, I do agree with you
A turbo 3.2 v6 would result in some monster HP/TRQ. Prosche uses a 3.2 h6 so the figures aren't totally compariable but 6cylinders respond SO well to a turbo.
