Trasmission and insurance
Does the transmission type affect insurance premiums? Insurance companies seem to look for any excuse to jackup the rates, like 2 doors vs. 4 on the same damn car (CL v. TL).

You know when I was conteomplating the CLP or the CLS, there was nearly a 50 dollar difference a month between the CLP and the CLS with the latter being $$$$... It's prolly the horsepower rating too.

I saw an insurance article in some financial mag recently. There was little difference between P and S. But the TL was way less than the CL. A 225 hp CL cost something like 50% more to insure than a 260 hp TL.
