Transmission Filler Plug Location??

Ok, I believe I have this right but want confirmation before I start taking what I believe apart.

Is this the 'jet' that was installed into my filler plug?

I have the proper honda fluid, how much goes back in with a drain and fill? ('01 3.2S)
TIA

I believe it is drain 2 quarts, fill, drain2, fill, drain2, fill again. I am not sure that there is a way to get it all out at once.

I'll let someone else give the right information though. I don't know about the oil jet kit at all.

You're in the right spot. Yes that's the filler plug below the oil jet. I think you pull the bolt holding the oil jet bracket in place and remove the oil jet. You then can loosen the filler plug that now has a hole in the top for the oil jet.

i guess you are doing a standard drain and no flush. i'm doing that too this week, except installing transmission cooler and redline HT ATF. comptech over the phone told me drain it and fill it. Drive about a few hundred miles 300-500, then drain and fill it again. this will make sure all old fluid is out if you are not flushing.

Ok, great then. I will drain and fill it twice. Anyone know exactly how much it's supposed to hold?

Got to shorten that hose too, it seemed a bit 'kinked'...

3 quarts on each drain, so refill with 3 quarts.

Remove the blue bolt that's on the other end of the black metal bracket. Then the oil jet kit will slide right out. Easy-peasy.

Remember to drive the car before each drain/refill to let the new fluid circulate.
