LOL are you asking for sure or is this a joke? in the 2nd gen cl they seem to think that 15000 mi is the trick to staying healthy and a way to avoid early tranny misshaps ... at least that is what they recomended to me after the first tranny took a dump.... Fotr me they did so under waranty When I felt the second was going out I sold the pos (tranny) back to the dealer >;] :whocares:

I change mine every 15,000 miles. The manual says 30,000 but I was told by several mechanics at Acura to do it at 15,000.

I do it every 30,000 but i do a triple tranny flush. Drain the fluid out, fill with new tranny fuild, go up 55-60 mph, Drain, fill, run through the gears, and then Drain and fill. The first time i did the fluid was like dark dark brown, and then it got closer to the pinkish color, third time was good. I have a friend that works at a acura service center, he said you don't have to do but it better that u do.

Check your tranny fluid monthly or more so depending on how HARD you are on your car. Don't go by what the engineers at Honda say in our manual ! I would change it every 15,000 to be on the mental safe side.

So, did u do it yourself?? is this a job similar to oil changes? Is it easy like that?...or, would it be wiser to take it to the dealer?

alright guys, please make it clear that there is a difference between a drain (simple change) and a flush (forcing fluid at high pressure through the tranny).

that is all.
