tranny dies after warranty ? what to do
well it finally happen to me and the tranny die on me at 138k mile. now just wanted to know if it is cheaper to get it rebuild or to find a used tranny. the problem is i know most used trannys out there will be just as bad as the one i have. any suggestions?

My first suggestion is to take it to a dealership and see if you can get it replaced under a good faith agreement. You never know, since it's such a problem with our cars. If that doesn't work, then I would just have it rebuilt or see how much the honda factory rebuilt ones are and what the cost difference would be.
